Welcome to my blog! This is a  place for me to share information on food allergies, mindful living and Intuitive Eating. I was diagnosed with IgG food allergies (gluten, wheat, dairy, and casein) in 2006 before there were so many gluten free products on the market. It was extremely overwhelming, as well as emotionally and physically challenging for me to change everything I ate. It required lots of guidance from a Registered Dietitian and a nutritionist who specialized in food intolerances and allergies. I created this blog several years ago with the hopes that the knowledge I gained in my journey could help someone else who might be suffering with the same food challenges as me.

My blog has evolved over the years, as I started to incorporate Intuitive Eating (IE) into my food philosophy. I struggled with disordered eating for many years and believe it contributed to my development of food allergies. Ironically, I believe healing my digestive system and controlling my food allergies has been iconic in healing my relationship with food. IE has provided me with my own version of food freedom and I am so passionate about it that I am currently studying to become an Intuitive Eating Counselor. My hope is that by sharing my story and journey that I can help others find their own food freedom by using the IE principles.
